Death of Mrs. Lydia Seaword, widow of the lake James Seaword, died at the home of her son, Charles Seaword, 555 Cumberland St., yesterday morning after an illness of two months. Mrs. Seaword was 74 years old and was born in England, and came to this country when a young girl. She had been a resident of this town since 1870. Her husband was killed at the central railroad station at Elizabeth 27 years ago while attempting to board a train while it was in motion. She was a member of the Baptist church. Two sons, William and Charles Seaward and one daughter, Miss Ella Seaward, survive her. The funeral will be held from her late home tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock and will be conducted by Reverend Charles T Snow, the acting pastor of the Baptist church. Interment will be made in Fairview cemetery and will be private.
