Mr. Hatcher, a resident of MacArthur, Raleigh County, died 24 May 1976 in a Beckley, W.Va., hospital.
He was a retired coal miner and a member of the United Mine Workers of America. He was a member of the MacArthur Church of God.
Survivors included his wife; sons Arnold Jr., William, James and Bobby; daughters Beulah and Mary; half brothers Roy and Walter L. Hatcher; half sisters Goldie, Frances, Ethel and Pearl; 15 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Services were held in the Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley, with the Rev. Otis Clyburn officiating. Burial was in Blue Ridge Cemetery, Beckley.
