Lillie married James Wesley Barringer on 12Jan1897 in Johnson Co, IL. Apparently, Barringer abandoned Lillie and Floy before 1900, as she is listed as "widowed" on the Census under her maiden name. Per the 1910 Census, Lillie and William were married 6 years.
I offer this info only as background, Use it as you wish. I have not yet established a link between these Barringers and me. I suspect they came down from Michigan. My folks came from NC.
