Mr. Gilmer Palmer Youngblood, age 90, died November 21 at the Minden Medical Center. He was a resident of Gibsland and a sawmill employee. Services were yeld at First United Pentecostal Church in Gibsland on Friday, November 23 with Rev. T.W. Barnes and Rev. H.B. Ward and Rev. C.D. Bates officiating. Burial was at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery under the direction of Congers Funeral Home.
He is survived by three sons, Virgil Youngblood and Arthur Youngblood, both of Gibsland, and Lloyd Youngblood of Niceville, Fla.; two daughters, Marie Moncrief of Gibsland and Ann Dowling of Farmerville; one brother, Joe Roy Youngblood of Minden; and 24 grandchildren, 38 great-great grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
