Adamo ROSSETTI
Age 90, died April 25 at Providence Hospital following a brief illness. Mr. Rossetti was born in Valenzono, Italy in the Province of Bari on March 28, 1892. He came to this country in 1916. He worked 38 years for the Northern Pacific Railroad before moving to Seattle in 1955. He was a member of Sons of Italy; Eagles Lodge, Cle Elum No. 649 and St. Jospeh's Church. He was fondly known as the "Grandpa" of Capitol Hill. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marianna and daughter, Carmela Rosetti Buono. Surviving are a daughter, Dominica Birchman, of Seattle and a son, Michael Rossetti, of Cle Elum. Also, survived by twelve grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Rosary 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, both at St. Joseph's Church. Entombment, Holyrood. Remembrances are suggested to Medic One or Cle Elum Volunteer Fire Department. Arrangements by Bonney-Watson on Broadway, 322-0013.
