Virginia Storey Evans, 86, passed away July 4, 2003 at Idabel. Virginia was born Sept. 19, 1916, at Dallas, Texas.
She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church and the American Quarter Horse Association. Virginia owned and trained horses for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Bill Boyd and Herbert Evans.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Barbara Boyd, Owasso; two daughters and sons-in-law, Alice Fae and Jack Harkrider, Haworth, and Ann and Dr. R.E. Zimmer, Idabel; 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren; and a very special friend, Sandra Womack, Idabel.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Monday, July 7, 2003, at the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church. Burial in Harris Cemetery.
