Mr. John H. Lowe and his little son, of Cass County, Texas, are visiting relatives in this place, the former home of Mr. Lowe.
It will be remembered that Mr. Lowe had the great misfortune to lose his wife and little daughter, Estelle, some time ago, they being horribly murdered in their western home and their bodies thrown down a well, an account of which appeared in these columns at the time. The murderer was later found and lynched.
It would sadden the hardest heart to hear Mr. Lowe narrate the details of this most diabolical crime.
Mary Alice and her daughter are buried together in the same grave.
