Watt T. Sorrell Dies at Salem, Ala.
Watt T. Sorrell, of Salem, in Lee County, died suddenly at his home last Friday morning.
For many years the deceased had been a resident of Chambers County____ and resided ______portion of his life at Oakbowery. From Oakbowery he removed to Five Points and later moved with his family to Salem, where he was superintendent of the Renfro farm there.
It is said that Mr. Sorrell had been in bad health for some time. Friends say he had realized his physical condition for several months.
He was for a long time a member of the county board of education in this county and for several years served as county road foreman. He had many friends who regret his passing.
