Our dear husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend passed away at the home that he built and loved with his sweet wife of sixty-two years at his side.

Dad was born in Deseret, Utah. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1946-1948. He married the one and only love of his life, Maxine Robbins, on May 4, 1949 in the Salt Lake Temple. Dad had many loves - his sweetheart, family, teaching, football, coaching, hunting, joking, and BYU.

He is survived by his wife; children, Rob (Cynthia) Conk, Rick (Robin) Conk, Desiree (Greg) Stuart, Tracy (Scott) Horsley; nineteen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sisters, Bonnie and Sandra; and brother, Don.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Bountiful Thirty-Fourth Ward Chapel, 540 North 1200 East, Bountiful, with a viewing on Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the church and also Tuesday from 9:00-10:30 a.m. prior to the services.
Interment: Lakeview Memorial Estates Cemetery.
