Son of Henry Pervine Conk and Rosa Vilate (Cardon) Conk. In his early years, he helped family and friends working on local farms. He attended elementary at A.C. Nelson in Deseret and graduated from Hinckley High School. After graduation he joined the U.S, Navy and served honorably as an electrician and an inter-communications specialist. He married Dorothy Lorraine Zeilenga on September 7, 1947 in Yuma, AZ. He was an accomplished carpenter and electrician; while living and working in Texas he was able to construct house from the drawings to the finished product. Following the death of his wife, Dorothy, he married Glenda Cropper Roundy in Delta, UT on July 6, 2002, where they lived. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; brother, Leo Conk, and sister, Bonnie Conk Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Glenda; daughters, Donna (Karasek) and her husband Jay Wheeler, Connie (Rigney) and husband George, and Ruby (Dougherty); grandchildren, Heather (Rigney) Councilor, Melanie (Rigney) White, Jonathon Cort-Maior; and 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Sandra Conk Kemp; brothers, John, George, and Steven.
