Jean Temple Aleman, 83, of McComb, died Aug. 18, 2011, at University Medical Center in Jackson.

Visitation is 5 to 8 tonight at Jones Family Funeral Services of McComb, then 9 a.m. Saturday until services there at 11. The Rev. Rick Kennedy will officiate, and burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery.

Mrs. Aleman was born Feb. 11, 1928, in Jasper County, to Clifton and Eula Windham Temple.

She was a retired communication supervisor for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. She was a member of New Heights Baptist Church and loved her Sunday school class. She also was a member of the Summit Garden Club and absolutely loved her family outings.

Mrs. Aleman was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Louis G. Aleman; two brothers, Harold Temple and Collette Temple; and a stepson, Louis G. "Butch" Aleman Jr..

Survivors include her stepdaughter, Michelle Pittman and husband Tommy of Foxworth; two brothers, Billy Temple and wife Aimee of Summit, and Glaston Temple of Bay Springs; two sisters, Mary Lou Bedgood of Mandeville, La., and Shirley Brewer and husband David of McComb; step-grandchildren, Nicky and Ashley; a special friend, Loretta Bryant of McComb; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.

Pallbearers will be Stacy McCaskill, William Hightower, Chris Holmes, Billy Temple Jr., Josh Perkins and Nicky Neese. Honorary pallbearers are Hubert Norwood and Eric Sandifer.
