LAWSON, Mo. — Funeral for former Lawton resident Ronald Kassanavoid, 49, Lawson, Mo., will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Post Oak Mennonite Brethren Church, Indiahoma. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at Comanche Nation Funeral Home. Mr. Kassanavoid died Tuesday, May 27, 2003. Burial will be in Post Oak Cemetery. He was born April 30, 1954, in Lawton, to Robert "Blackjack" and Mary Louise Tahah Kassanavoid. He was a member of the Comanche Tribe. Survivors include his wife, Janet Kassanavoid, of the home; four children: Joseph, Jasmain, Jarron, and Janee, all of the home; a daughter: Cheresta Jensen, Indiahoma; a son, Rondell Brown, Tulsa; a granddaughter, Lisa Brown, Tulsa; three brothers: Leroy Rodriquez, Temple, Texas; Warren Kassanavoid, Lawton,; and Robert Kassanavoid Jr., Indiahoma; and a sister, Sue Kassanavoid-Jefferson, Lawton. Memorial contributions may be sent to Ron Kassanavoid family, c/o Lawson Bank, 401 N. Pennsylvania, Lawson, Mo. Friends may call from 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
