Mr. Kassanavoid passed away Thursday, Aug. 9, 2018.
Burial will be at Post Oak Cemetery under direction of Comanche Nation Funeral Home.
Prayer Service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug, 22, 2018, at the funeral home chapel.
Warren was born Sept. 9, 1960, in Los Angeles, Calif., to Robert Taylor "BlackJack" Kassanavoid Sr. and Gaynell Rodean Lonewolf. Warren grew up in Tulsa and attended Charles C. Mason High School and graduated from Tulsa Union High School. Warren studied Aviation Maintenance at Central New Mexico Community College. Warren was a proud member of the Comanche Tribe as well as being proud of his Kiowa descent. Warren enjoyed bowling, fishing, band, foosball, concerts, wrestling and gourd dancing.
Warren is survived by three children and spouses: Warren Bruce II and Kara Kassanavoid, Indiahoma, Vanna Kassanavoid-Bereza and husband Christopher Bereza, Lawton, and Walter Kassanavoid, Lawton; brother, Robert Kassanavoid Jr., Oklahoma City; grandchildren: Kailah, Jayden, Arayah, Elijah, Alyssa and Aushay Kassanavoid; special friend, Steve Worth; aunts: Alicia Wilson, Gwen Komahcheet, Melissa Gordon, Beverly Salas, Marilyn Kassanavoid, Sarah Lonewolf, Jerlena Lonewolf, Jackie Lonewolf, Cheryl Lonewolf; uncles: Edwin Komahcheet and Glenn Komahcheet; and nieces and nephews: Cheresta Cook, Lisa Brown, Rondell Brown, Alanna Starr, Justin Weatherly, Jessica Kassanavoid, Joseph Kassanavoid, Jasmine Kassanavoid, Jaaron Kassanavoid and Janee Kassanavoid; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 22 years, Velinda Sue Kassanavoid; brother, Ronald "Rondo" Kassanavoid; sister, Sue Kassanavoid; paternal grandparents, Sam Kassanavoid and Jessie Poahway; maternal grandparents, Bruce Lonewolf Sr and Edna Lonewolf; great-grandparents, Dorothy Nahmee Martinez; aunts, Janice Komahcheet, Dorothy Martinez, Brenda Griffin, April Komahcheet; and uncles, Walter Lonewolf, Marvin Lonewolf, Michael Lonewolf, Buster Komahcheet, Ewart Komahcheet.
