Mrs. McDonald was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County, the daughter of the late Jewell King Lewis and the late Annie Mae Meeks Lewis. She was the wife of the late Gordon McDonald, Sr. and was also preceded in death by a son, Gordon McDonald, Jr., a sister, Lillian L. Berry, and two brothers, Otis Lewis and Raymond Lewis. Mrs. McDonald was a homemaker and had worked for Holmes Canning Company and J. P. Stephens Company. She was a member of the Jackson's Baptist Church.
Survivors are her sisters, Dora Lewis Johnson of Milledgeville and Lena Lewis of Warthen, many nieces, nephews, cousins and her care givers, Glynda and Tommy Thompson of Sandersville.
