Lillian Lewis Berry

Mrs. Lillian Ola Lewis Berry, age 85, of 732 Leverett Road in Sandersville died Wednesday night, June 2, at her residence following an extended illness. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 5, in the Brownwood Cemetery. The Rev. Redding Hodges III will officiate.

Mrs. Berry was a native and life long resident of Washington County, the daughter of the late Jewell K. Lewis and the late Annie M. Lewis. She was the wife of the late Jack A. Berry. Mrs. Berry was a homemaker and a member of the Poplar Springs Christian Church.

Survivors are two daughters, Connie R. McDade of Milledgeville and Charlottee B. Richbourg of Sandersville , two sons, Larry D. Berry of Milledgeville and Lewis A. Berry of Mitchell, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, three sisters, Hilda L. McDonald of Sandersville, Dora L. Johnson of Milledgeville and Lena A. Lewis of Warthen.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Friday.

The family suggests that donations be made to Poplar Springs Christian Church, c/o Mrs. Redin Hodges, 425 Green Lane, Sandersville, Georgia 31082.
