Mrs. Eva Mae Hargett Usher, 75, of Lancaster passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at her home. She was born February 3, 1936 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Samuel David Hargett and Eula Mae Aldridge Hargett.
A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Usher will be held Friday, August 19, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Lancaster Funeral Home with the Rev. Bernie Perry officiating. Burial will be in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Usher is survived by a daughter, Debra Usher Catoe and her husband Joey of Lancaster; a brother, Lewis Hargett of Great Falls and a sister, Dora Lee Adams of Lancaster; three grandchildren, Matthew Catoe and his wife Anna Williams Catoe, Jacob Catoe and Kayla Ivey; one great-grandchild, Emalia Elyse Catoe.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Lancaster Funeral Home and other times at the home of Joey and Debra Catoe, 2447 Morningside Drive, Lancaster.
