A native of Austria, she married John Valencik and lived with him in Catawissa and Mount Carmel, PA for 60 years before moving to Shelton, CT where she lived for nine months before passing away. Mrs. Valencik was a communicant of St. John's Baptist Church in Mount Carmel, PA and the Rosary Society of that parish. At the time of her death, she was survived by 8 children, 51 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
