She attended school in Llano. She moved to Breckenridge in 1927. She was a seamstress, having worked for Tolle Cleaners and Boss Manufacturing Co. glove factory for 10 years; 12 years for Davis Mfg, seven years for Town Hall Estates. She had lived in Abilene, Odessa, and Midland where she worked for One Hour Martinizing Cleaners.

She was a veteran of the US Army during World War II. She was past member of the American Legion.

She married Ollie D. Boiles in 1946 at Sweetwater.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
