News of the death of Mrs. Mittie Burpee, which occurred at the home of Dan S. Holt, of Montgomery on Monday, was received in this city today. Funeral service was held from the family residence at 305 Felder Avenue, Montgomery, today at 10 o'clock with announcement that interment would be in the LaFayette Cemetery today at 2:30 o'clock.
The deceased was a former resident of this city and lived here for many years, being the daughter of the late Stanmore Carlisle and a wife of the late Morgan Schuessler, of this city.
