Juda Watters, 71, Stearns, Ky., died suddenly February 21, 1977, at lake Cumberland Medical Center, Somerset, Ky. Her husband, Nelson N. Watters survives.

She was born march 14, 1905, in Wayne county, Ky., the daughter of the late Pete King and Viana Musgrove King. She was a lifetime resident of McCreary County a housewife and member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church.

Surviving besides her husband are a son, Arthur Watters of Stearns; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Alfred King, Muncie, Ind., and Crawford King, Parker, Ind., and one sister, Lottie Kidd, Pine Knot.

A son, Orville Watters, four brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 23, at 1 p.m. in the McCreary county Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Nathan Byrd and Rev. Calvin Corder officiating. Burial was in Angel Cemetery. McCreary County Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
