Donald Blair, 72, of Lincoln, IL died at 3:28 p.m. August 11, 2009 at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield, IL.
Mr. Blair was the service manager of Pontiac garage for 35 years before he retired.
He was a member of Eagles Aerie 2708 and the Moose Lodge and he drove stock cars.
He was born February 28, 1937 in Hodgenville, KY to Joseph Allie and Sydney Ethel Graham Blair. He married Joy Leach on September 15, 1966 in Mason City, IL.
Survivors include his wife of Lincoln; daughters Rebecca (Daniel) DeLong of Sherman, IL, Donna (Mike) Danley of Havana, IL and Donnie (Melanie) Blair Jr. of San Jose, IL; sisters Elizabeth De La Rosa of El Monte, CA, Marie Coffee of Magnolia, KY, Lydia Sutton of Bloomington, IL, Reba Bateson of Clinton, IL and Dora Sutton of Auburn, IL; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
His parents, 2 sisters and 2 brothers preceded him in death.
Mr. Blair's funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln with the Rev. James Stuenkel officiating. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, Lincoln, IL.
Visitation will be from 4-7:00 p.m. Friday, August 14, 2009 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln, IL with Eagles services at 7:00 p.m.
