Mrs. Laura Woodall Hundley, 88, of 166 Dalton Circle, died Tuesday morning at her home. She had been in declining health for two years, and was confined to bed for three months.
Mrs. Hundley was born in Henry County, a daughter of the late William J. Woodall and Martha Motley Woodall. She spent most of her life in Pittsylvania County.
On Nov. 24, 1909, she married Richard Clay Hundley, who survives. Mrs. Hundley was a member of Piney Forest United Methodist Church and the Glenwood Women's Club.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Malcolm J. Hundley, Danville; one daughter, Mrs. Hazel H. Rollins, Glenwood; one sister, Mrs. Vergie H. Hubbard, Danville; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Wrenn-Yeatts chapel by the Rev. Bobby E. Green and the Rev. W.D. Sheets. Interment will be in Highland Burial Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 7:30 to8:30p.m.
