C. BONDURANT RETIRED FARMER DIES IN HOSPITAL

WELL KNOWN IN COUNTY WHERE HE RESIDED FOR 89 YEARS -- FUNERAL SATURDAY.
----------
Cyrus Bondurant, retired farmer residing near Bremen, passed away at the Parkview hospital in Plymouth at 8 a.m. today. He had been ill for two weeks. He has resided in Marshall county for the 89 years since his birth, March 20, 1849.

Funeral services for Mr. Bondurant will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Union church at Lapaz. The body was removed to the Danielson funeral home, shere it will remain until Saturday noon at which time it will be taken to the Union church to lie in state until the hour of the funeral. Burial will be made in the Huff Cemetery near Bremen.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret Jacoby Bondurant; four daughters, Mrs. Melvin Seybold of South Bend, Mrs. Homer McClung of Woodbridge, Calif., Mrs. Ora Spaid of South Bend and Mrs. Thad Whitinger of South Bend; Lloyd Shroff of South Bend, a grandson, whom he reared from childhood; fifteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two brothers, John of Bremen and Billy of South Bend. One daughter died in infancy.
