Mrs. Edith Brand, 86, a resident of Grant County for 45 years, died the past week. She was a retired nurse and with her brother, Robert Thompson, resided on his ranch in the Burro Mountains near Tyrone. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.Funeral services were held at the Curtis Mortuary Chapel, the Rev. C. M. Henderson of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, conducting the rites. Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery.
