WILLIAM H. BUTLER
1. Pay all my debts and funeral expenses.
2. I give to my beloved wife ELIZA E. BUTLER, all my personal property, and also all my real estate to have during her natural life.
3. After her death, I give my real estate to my sons LUCIEN L. BUTLER and JOHN B. BUTLER, share and share alike.
4. I appoint my beloved wife ELIZA E. BUTLER Executrix.

William H. Butler who has been ill from Brights disease for several weeks, died at his home in Cayuga Sunday morning. Mr. Butler, who was 72 years old, was a life long member of the United Brethen Church. Funeral service was held Monday from the residence and interment in the Thomas Cemetery, Rev. P.W Walthal officiating. He is survived by a widow and three children, Lucian of Cayuga, John of Newport and Mrs. Inez Pratt of Cayuga.

William Henry Butler and his wife Eliza adopted his cousin Rose Amour. She was the daughter of his uncle William Thomas Amour.

William's obit. above lists Inez Pratt as his child, she was not, but was raised by her cousin William and wife, Eliza. The 1900 US Census listed her as Ina Farley, lodger, They may or may not have adopted her, but the recorded record of her marriage to Clyde LeRoy Pratt on Nov. 9, 1910 listed her name as Inez Butler Farley.
