SCHROEN INFANT DIES AT MELVIN
Kathryn Ann, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Schroen of Melvin, died at the family home at 5:20 a.m. Wednesday, January 17. She was born December 28, 1950 at the Fairbury hospital.
Services were held Thursday from St. George's Catholic Church in Melvin with Rev. Fr. McCormick officiating.
Interment was in Germanville cemetery.
She is survived by her parents, and a sister, Linda, 16 months old. Mr. and Mrs. Charles B. Schroen of Germanville are the child's paternal grandparents.
An autopsy conducted at Bloomington indicated that one of the child's lungs had been deflated since birth.
