Fred was predeceased by his sister Bertha Fischer Townsend and his brothers John Fischer Jr., and Albert Herman Fischer Sr. He was survived by his daughters Marie B. Fischer and Anna E. (John A.) Fischer, two grandchildren, Fred & Russell Fischer, and four great grandchildren. Fred was also survived by his sisters Anna Fischer Grimenstein and Katherine Fischer Wiemer.
