MRS. ELIZABETH DONOVAN
MAQUOKETA — Mrs. Elizabeth Donovan, 72, formerly of Bernard, la., died Saturday afternoon at her home in Maquoketa.
Services were held at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Church, Maquoketa, with burial in St. Patrick's cemetery, North Garryowen, la. Friends called after 7 p.m. Monday at the Haylock-O'Hara Funeral Home, Maquoketa, where the Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Monday.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Lester Manders, Rewey, Wisc.; two sons, J. C. and Arnold, both of Bernard; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Ahern and Mrs. Mary Bigelow, both of Dubuque; one brother, Ed Meehan, Dubuque, and 16 grandchildren.
