ELFREDA MENDEL, 80 passed away May 21, 2003. She is survived by her husband Otto J. Mendel, two sisters, Lucille Teeters and Clara Cups. Three grandchildren, Lynelle Jones, LeCarl Skelley and Damon Mendel. Five great-grandchildren, Taylor and Samantha Jones, Layne and Krysta Skelley and Jacob Mendel and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Dixie Drive Baptist Church on May 22, 2003 6pm to 8:30pm at 7112 Dixie Dr., Houston, TX 77087. Services will be held at 10:00am, May 23, 2003 with Pastor Dickie Hopman officiating with burial to follow at Hollywood Cemetery. Pallbearers are Calvin Mendel, Jr., Clarence Mendel, Jr., Gary Mendel, Damon Mendel, LeCarl Skelley and William Jones. Flowers will be accepted until 9:30am on May 23, 2003 at the Church.
