"Mrs. Witwer Rites
Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Witwer, 81, who died on Thursday, May 10, from the infirmities of old age after an illness of eight month. Services at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Minnie Henderson, Orrville, were held Sunday, May 13, at 2:30 p.m. at the home of Elden Frase on Barberton-Wadsworth Road. Rev. F. R. Alkire, pastor of the First Methodist church of Barberton, officiated.

She was born at Dalton, Nov. 13, 1852, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Kosier, both deceased. On December 25, 1873, she was married at East Union, Ohio, to ELam F. Witwer who preceded her in death on November 1, 1932. She is survived by one son, Clyde Witwer, Barberton, two daughters, Mrs. Minnie Henderson, Orrville, and Mrs. Jennie Beckley, Barberton, R.D. and two grandchildren, Mrs. Bessie Payne and Robert Henderson. One daughter, Mrs. Bessie Frase preceded her in death on Jan. 5, 1934. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church. Interment was made at Greenlawn Memorial Park."
