Witwer Rites
Elam F. Witwer, 83, a resident of Barberton, Ohio R.D. for eight years, died Tuesday, November 1st at his home after two years illness. He was born at Paradise, Ohio, on Feb. 19, 1849, and on Dec. 25th, 1873, he was married at East Union, Ohio to Alice Kosier. His occupation during his lifetime was that of a blacksmith. He leaves a widow, one son, Clyde Witwer, Barberton, Ohio, three daughters, Mrs. Minnie Henderson, Orrville, Mrs. Jennie Beckley, Barberton, R.D., and Mrs. Bessie Frase, Barberton, R.D., and two grand-children, Robert and Bessie Henderson, Orrville. Private funeral services were held at the Witwer residence, Norton Road, on Friday, Nov. 4th. Rev. F. R. Aikire, Barberton, officiated. Burial was at Greenlawn Memorial Park in charge of F. A. Frase."
