In 1894, George Eppers and his family moved to Adrian, MN from Ashton, IA, and started a real estate business. He owned a considerable amount of farmlands in the vicinity and had his home on the corner of 6 th Avenue and Third Street. He would deal only on cash basis, and had almost bought 6,000 acres in Nobles and Murray Counties of Minnesota. Mr. Eppers induced many substantial farmers to locate permanently in Adrian. He headed the list of salesmen of Nobles County land.
Georg Eppers and James Cox, the two real estate dealers in Adrian consolidated on November, 1898. They wrote insurance, made loans, and sold land under te name of Eppers and Cox.
George, Anna & family later moved to Fergus County Montana after 1910.

(At that time the church was known as St. Patrick's. St. Patrick's was destroyed by a cyclone in 1883 and, when the new church was built, it was named St. Francis Xavier.)
The 1900 census of Adrian, Nobles County, Minnesota (page 8A, dwelling 111) shows George's birth month and year as April 1849 and his age as 51.
