Clara Henriette Klawitter
Clara Henriette Klawitter, 87, of Waco died Friday, Oct. 2, 1998, at a local nursing home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Mark's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Jim Price officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Brookview Funeral Home.
She was a homemaker. She enjoyed helping others and was a volunteer at Waco Senior Citizens Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto H. Klawitter in 1972.
Survivors include a daughter, Edna Schmedthorst and her husband, Earl, of Allison Park, Penn.; a son, Louis E. Klawitter and his wife, Norma, of Georgetown, Texas; two sisters, Selma Koester and her husband, Tony, of Riesel and Elsa Abel of Waco; four grandchildren, Mariana Sanborn and her husband, James of Georgetown, Elasha Edward and her husband, Bryan, of Lewisville, Texas, Glenn Schmedthorst and his wife, Deidra, of Waco and Michael Schmedthorst of Pennsylvania; and three great-grandchildren, Chad Schmedthorst, Justin Schmedthorst and Bradley Sanborn.
