Age 86. Died of congestive heart failure. Born & raised in Blundale, Emanuel County, Georgia. Served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the European Campaign with the 2nd Armoured Division. Married Wilma C. Phillips on September 12th 1942. Daughter Brenda Joyce born on September 17th 1947, son Emory David born on September 21st 1951. Retired from the Savannah Transit Authority. Had three grandsons, two great grandsons and one great grand daughter. Lived in Savannah until his death. He was a Master Mason and a member of Richard T. Turner Lodge #116 in Pooler, GA. Predeceased by elder grandson, James Larry McGahee, III.
