Harry was the eighth child of twelve children born to Frederick Richard Blenkarn and Mary Ann Fanny Ingram. He lived for over 40 years in Saskatchewan. He arrived in Canada in 1891 and settled at Broadview. The last two years of his life he spent with his brother and family Edgar and Florence Blenkarn. He never married.
