Mildred "Mickie" Kampa, age 76, of Hastings died August 2, 2011 at her home.

She was born July 26, 1935 in St. Cloud, MN to Raymond and Theresa (Bloomer) Muntifering. Mickie married Edward Kampa on April 27, 1957 in St. Cloud. She enjoyed music and crossword puzzles, and was an avid Vikings fan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Edward; siblings Jim and Bernice. Mickie is survived by her seven children, Jeff (Judy) of Woodbury, Randy, Julie, Rick (Linda), Dan (Cindy), Ed Jr. (Dawn), Chuck (Mandi), all of Hastings; her many grandchildren; siblings Irma, Marian, Eileen, Lucy, Jerry, and Roger.

The Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. James Perkl will be held 3pm Thursday, August 4 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 West Fifteenth St., Hastings with visitation 2 hours prior to service at church. Interment will follow in Lakeside Cemetery, Hastings. Her six sons will serve as pallbearers.
