Rosa Ursi was the second child of Paolo Ursi and his wife Maria Policastro Ursi (Paul and Maria Urso). She was born before her Italian-born parents even became citizens of the United States. She died of pneumonia when she was merely five months old. As was European and Italian custom at the time, the next female child of Paul and Maria (Rose Urso) was named after her.
