Funeral services for Mrs. Ernest (Laura May) Prior, 68,
were held 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the Union Baptist church with the Rev. Eugene Olson officiating. Burial was in Eastside cemetery.

Mrs. Prior died Wednesday at Holy Family hospital after suffering a heart attack. She had been ill for three week.

She was born April 18, 1887, in Edgewood and came to western Iowa in a covered wagon. She was educated in the Milford schools and attended Morningside college in Sioux City. She taught school in Clear Lake and Milford.

She was married to Ernest Prior on April 4, 1913, at Mason City. They moved to Estherville in 1924.

Mrs. Prior was a member of the Union Baptist church.

Survivors include a son, John of Pacoima, Calif., three daughters, Mrs. Vincent (Ernestine) Donahue of Emmetsburg, Mrs. Don C. (JoAnn) Roberts of Emmetsburg and Mrs. C. L. (Lula) Trostel [?] of Boise, Idaho; a sister, Mrs. Fred Larson of Elk River, Minn., and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and an infant son.

Note- Ernest Prior's obituary states the couple was married in 1915 which is more consistent with other records.
