OBITUARY

"Josephine Townslee was born in Ohio fifty-eight years ago. When five years old she came to Iowa with her parents, settling in the eastern part of the state Iowa). At the age of nineteen she was united in marriage to J. C. Burgin and to this union six children were born: two girls and four boys. Mrs. Burgin has been a member to the Methodist church for the last eighteen years.

For the past two years Mrs. Burgin had been in failing health, having a very serious illness a year ago. About two weeks ago she had another serious attack of her old malady which resulted in her death, Wednesday morning, June 12, 1912. Mrs. Burgin is survived by her six children: Fred resides at Greely, Iowa; Eugene, John, Wesley, Laura and Lulu all reside in Milford; and also two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at her late home this morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. C. H. Seward, of the Methodist church, officiating. Interment will be in Milford Cemetery."
