Mrs. J. Winter Died in Austin

Mrs. John Winter, 59, died in an Austin hospital Friday and funeral services were held at 2. P.m. Saturday at St. Lutheran Church in Thorndale with the Rev. Vernon M. Appel officiating. Burial was in the St. Paul Cemetery. Phillip and Luckey Co. was in charge.

Born Ella Schneider Dec. 12, 1905, she was the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. August Schneider. She married John Winter in 1928 at Fedor in Lee County.

She is survived by her husband John Winter of Fedor and two sons, Willie Erich Winter, U.S. Navy, Norfolk, Ca. and Clarence Winter of Austin; five brothers, Ernest Schneider of Thorndale, Emil Schneider of Fedor near Lexington, Martin Schneider of Fedor, Ewalt Schneider of Lincoln, and Oscar Schneider of Fedor; three sisters, Mrs. Selma Patschke of Thorndale, Mrs. Alma Kruger of Austin and Mrs. Minnie Mitschke of Houston. There are also five grandchildren.

Pall bearers were Marvin Neintsch, Leroy Neintsch, Gilbert Schroeder, Gilbert Wiser, Oscar Heintze, Frank Schwab.
