Services held (Tuesday) from the St.Paul Lutheran Church, Thorndale. Burial in church cemetery. Rev. Vernon Appel, pastor of church, officiated. Condra Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements. He was BORN 11/18/1907 in Fedor in Lee Co. to the late August and Mary Faltus Schneider. Married Miss Amelia Lehmann on 1/8/1929. He moved to Thorndale 40 years ago and had farmed in the area during that time. Member of above church. SURVIVORS: Wife, Mary; step-mother, Mrs. Bertha Schneider, Thorndale; 6 sons, Elmo of Thrall, Howard and Reinhard both of Thorndale, Wilbert, Leroy and Ernest A., Jr. all of Austin; 3 sisters, Mrs. Selma Patschke, Thorndale, Mrs. Alma Krueger, San Marcos, and Mrs. Minnie Mitschke of Houston; 4 brothers, Oscar Schneider of Lexington, Martin Schroeder and Awald Schneider of Lincoln and Emil Schneider of Fedor; 15 grandchildren; number of nieces and nephews.
