Lawrence Thornbrugh, 85, a retired farmer, was pronounced dead on arrival at Handley Hospital yesterday after apparently suffering a heart attack at his home, 1200 Texas. A native of Red Oak, Iowa, Mr. Thornbrugh came to Springfield in 1932 from Claremore, Okla. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; three sons, Alfred, Plainview, Tex., Leonard, Brownsville, Ore., and William E., state of New Mexico; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Marrion, 1400 West Evergreen, and Mrs. Ella F. Dollinger, Los Angeles; a brother, Austin, Miami, Okla.; and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Hankins, Welch, Okla. Ralph Thieme is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Lawrence Thornbrugh, 85, retired farmer whose home was at 1200 Texas, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Ralph Thieme Chapel with the Rev. W. E. Dowell officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery.
