Lamar Sellers
OAK GROVE (Special) ~ Funeral services for Lamar Sellers, 66, of Oak Grove, were held at 2 p.m. today with the Rev. Jimmy Shepard officiating, assisted by the Rev. Leslie Farrar.
Burial was in Forest Cemetery at Forest Baptist Church under direction of First National Funeral Home.
Mr. Sellers, a retired farmer, died Sunday morning at his home after a long illness.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Myrtle Elizabeth Sellers of Oak Grove; a son, Willie Ray Sellers of Edwards, Miss.; a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Dye of Forest, Miss.; three brothers, J. F. Sellers of Monroe, W. O. Sellers of Oak Grove and C. E. Sellers of Yakima, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Bancroft and Mrs. Ruth White, both of Forest; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Bobby Thompson, J. W. White, Andrew J. Garvan, Mud Puckett, Hardy Sellers and Wendell Sellers.
