Mr. Charles Jako - 4120 S. Burdick, passed away Wednesday morning, May 5, 1971. Mr. Jako was born Sept. 4, 1887, in Hungary and had been a resident here since 1906. He retired from the Bryant Paper Mill in 1953 after 40 years. Mr. Jako attended the United Church of Christ (Hungarian Reformed). He is survived by his wife, Margit; one daughter, Miss Irene Jako of Eagle Lake, Texas; 5 sons, Louis, Charles Jr., Alexander, Andrew and Joseph, all of Kalamazoo; 7 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, Alexander of Kalamazoo; a sister in Hungary. A grandson, James was killed in Vietnam. Religious services will be conducted 3 p.m. Friday, Truesdale South Chapel, Portage. Interment, Mt.
