Pearl (Tobin) Latham (1940-2011) attended public schools in Warren County, VA and was a member of the WCHS Class of 1959. Pearl and her husband were active members of Marlow Heights Baptist Church in Front Royal. Pearl proved to be an inspiration to many in her battle with cancer. She discovered shortly after the WCHS Class of 1959 were given their graduation diplomas in October 2010 that she had a form of cancer that was terminal. She chose not to take Chemo, but rather enjoy to the fullest the days she had remaining. She remained positive yet realistic throughout the following months and was a joy to talk to always cheerful and upbeat in her approach to facing what life brought her way and was determined to live life to the fullest.
