Apparently she stayed on after Joshua died in 1803,and ran their "Tavern". She was quite the versitile person from painting to playing fiddle. "Granny Doane" of Liberty Point, painted pictures or caricatures with colours of her own making, for which she found a ready sale at her shop. Her fiddling also pleased the fisherman from the US who resorted there.

"The most notorious tavern was Granny Snow's at Liberty Point. Granny liked to play the fiddle, and provide entertainment as well as drinks for her partons."
