Bethel "Burke" Killinsworth was born in Walker County, Georgia to Andrew Jackson Burke and his wife Ellen America "Phillips" Burke. She married Roy Buskel Killinsworth in 1915 and shortly thereafter they moved to Plainview, Hale, Texas where their first son Deadrick Winfred Killinsworth was born in 1916.
They lived in Altus Oklahoma for a while where their daughters Bobbie and Ellen were born.
They moved to Sudan Texas around 1924 and their daughters Gladys and Lynn were born there. They also added three sons who were Don Atwood, Roy B. and Kurtis Ken Killinsworth.
Sometime around 1950 the family moved to Coolidge, Arizona where Roy farmed cotton until his retirement.
She and her husband Roy moved to Yucaipa, California after several years and it was in Yucaipa where they passed away.
They left behind their large family of 8 children and 13 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and one great grandchild.
They were devoted family people who loved baseball, politics and a game they played with dominoes called "42"
