Gladys Pearl Cox (1914 - 2011)

Gladys Pearl Gray Cox, 97, a loving mother and grandmother, met her Savior on Saturday, July 30, 2011. Service: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Lakeside Church of God with a graveside service at 3 p.m. in Hewitt Cemetery in Wilson, Okla. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Biggers Funeral Home.

Gladys was born May 18, 1914, in Wilson, Okla., to Marion and Molly Adderholt Gray. She moved to Lake Worth with her husband in 1942. Mrs. Cox retired from the Lake Worth ISD after 10 years of service. She attended Lakeside Church of God and was the oldest living charter member of Lake Worth Assembly of God Church. She was loved by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 45 years, Clarence Alvin "Punch" Cox; and sister, Maggie Stevens. Survivors: Son, Gale Cox and wife, Christine; daughters, Panzy Dudley and husband, Robert, Fern Craig and husband, Mike; grandchildren, Richard, David, Robin, Janet, Karen, Glenda, Kathy, Steve, Stephanie, Michelle and Rachel; 31 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild.
