Death of L. B. Harwood.
Yesterday, at 5 o'clock P. M., Mr. L. B. HARWOOD died at the Planters' House, after a short illness. He was a member of the firm of BANKS, HAMILTON & HARWOOD, commission merchants of this city, and had been for fifteen years a prominent merchant and one of our leading business men. He was a son-in-law of Ex-Governor MARMADUKE, of this State. The remains of Mr. HARWOOD will be removed from the Planters' House to the steamer Jennie Lewis to-day, at 4 P. M., and taken for interment to Saline county, Mo., where the family of the deceased now reside.
