MOWEAQUA - Robert E. Dickerson, Sr., 76, died April 1, 2008 (11:45 a.m.), in St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 5th in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua with Phip Sams, Minister, and Rev. Charles K. Jacobs officiating. Visitation will be from Noon until service time in the Funeral Home. Burial is in Westside Cemetery, Moweaqua. Memorials to Moweaqua Peace Meals.

Bob was born on August 9, 1931 in Decatur, Illinois the son of Harry Lee and Edna Lucille (Asa) Dickerson. He proudly served his country in the Air Force from 1951 through 1954. He married Alice Lea in O'Fallon, Illinois on October 2, 1953. Bob retired after 42 years of service from Muellers in Decatur, Illinois. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Moweaqua.

Surviving are sons Robert E. (JoAnna) Dickerson of Hanover, PA., Randy (Jennie) Dickerson of Arthur, Illinois, daughter Kim Louise (Scott) Inman of Loveland, CO; daughter-in-law Diane Dickerson of New Hope TN; sisters Linda Webb of Riverton; Betty Minott Ramsey, "Dubby" Moore, Lucille Pyatt all of Moweaqua; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
